8th International Urdu Conference begins at Arts Council

The biggest International Urdu Conference begins Tuesday at Karachi Arts Council. 8th international Urdu Conference will highlight the value of “Urdu Language” on different topics and sessions.

On the beginning of Conference hostess Huma Mir introduced the conference special guests on stage as galaxies of Urdu language, Intezar Hussain, Zehra Nigah, Kishore Naheed, Peerzada Qasim, Alia Imam,Shamim Hanfi, Abualkalam Qasmi Haseena Moin Sehar Ansari the popular personalities of Urdu writers and poets invited on first day.

Huma said this is the biggest conference of Urdu Language in the world countries and Arts Council of Pakistan has the honour to organize this conference in Karachi every year.

In the inaugurating speech of the conference Arts Council‘ Secretary Ahmed shah remembered renowned Poet Jamiluddin Aali who passed away recently was the big name in Urdu language and commented on value of Urdu.

Renowned name in Urdu language famous poet also expressed their views on Urdu language and its relations with other language in Pakistan and International level,

The first session of the conference was discussed on the subject of possibilities in implementing Urdu as the official language of Pakistan and Urdu Language in education.

This conference will be continue till Dec 11 where thousands of Karachitees is expected to visit this valuable conference of city.
