One of the world’s biggest cities and the financial hub of Pakistan, Karachi, has just fallen in a world index – and that’s good news.
Pakistani military spokesman, Major General Asif Ghafoor, recently shared on Twitter the World Crime Index where Karachi now stands at 70th place – falling from 6th place – with Washington, London, and Rome behind.
Sindh’s capital has gone from being one of the top 10 cities with most crimes to being a city with the least crime rate.
“Karachi at one point in time (2014) was 6th in World Crime Index. Today it’s at 70th with many first world cities behind,” Major Ghafoor tweeted.
