‘I respectfully disagree, but Pakistan is not hell’, says former actress and Congress member Ramya

Ramya trolled for her comment on Pakistan

The actress had said that the neighbouring country is not hell

Actress-turned-politician Ramya, being trolled on social media for the last two days fol lowing her reported comment that “Pakistan is not hell”, was slammed by actor-cum-politician Jaggesh on Sunday.

Participating in an ABVP protest against anti-nationalism, Jaggesh said: “People who have not studied and don’t have any experience are praising Pakistan. They should be given a peace prize, maybe a Nobel. They should also be allowed to stand next to Bill Clinton and take photos.” Not stopping there, Jaggesh described those supporting anti-national sentiments as ‘mosquitoes and bedbugs’, and that they should be destroyed with poison.

Ramya reacted with a tweet that read: “Ouch! That hurts!” She had commented on Pakistan while addressing a women’s rally in Mandya recently after returning from Islamabad where she had attended the SAARC Young Parliamentarians Conference – 2016.

This is not the first time that Jaggesh and Ramya have engaged in a war of words. The two had a bitter spat when Ramya walked out of Jaggesh’s movie Neer Dosa, which was ready for release.
